This long distance thing is a bit of a roller coaster of emotions to say the least. I?ve never been a very emotional person. Generally I?m pretty happy go lucky and not a lot worries me.
I don?t tend to cry a lot and moments when I do are often when I am super tired or frustrated. A common theme emerging with this long distance relationship is that the day after spending time together I have a cry over nothing in particular.
As in seriously nothing in particular, my eyes welled up at work this morning over nothing. What a treat. I?m uncertain as to whether or not this is solely due to the relationship or in part also due to the Jadelle implant and the additional hormones that are floating around my body.
Although I don?t really think I can blame the implant as I did the teary thing before I even got that put in.
The bonus is that there is SO much excitement the few days leading up to seeing him though! This time around I started a 5-sleep countdown, I could barely sit still the day he was due to arrive.
I never really appreciated how hard long distance relationships were until I began one, and it is still early days for us as well. I imagine it won?t get any easier from here on out.
In fact I have spoken to a friend who did long distance with her current bf for a few years and she has confirmed that it never gets any easier, you just keep looking forward to that day when you no longer have to do it and you can be together.
Then there are the PDA?s, never been a fan myself, still not overly. However the whole weekend we couldn?t keep our hands off each other, nothing dodgy just hand holding the whole time and sitting close to each other.
Not a fan of roller coasters literally and figuratively, I have always been a pretty stable person and am feeling a little like I can?t contain my emotions and feelings. Fingers crossed I can work this all out!
