Jennifer Beals Takes on Sexual Assault in the Military in Web Series Lauren

Troian Bellisario and Jennifer Beals are taking on a very serious issue: sexual assault in the military.

In the second season of Lauren, a series created by WIGS ? the no. 1 channel on YouTube for scripted drama ? Bellisario plays Lauren, a soldier who reports a sexual assault.

And as Beals's iconic film Flashdance celebrates it's 30th anniversary, she takes on a very different role as Major Jo Stone, who plays opposite Bellisario.

Previously, the WIGS channel also produced Blue, a series starring Julia Stiles as the title character, a woman who works as a prostitute coming to terms with her troubled past.
