*10 P.M. Update*
The Brazos Animal Shelter is filling up with more animals after honoring a Central Texas woman's last request.
28 cats are in need of homes and foster homes after a Temple woman died of cancer and asked that her pets all be taken care of.
Her family in Bedias asked the shelter for help after they were unable to care of the felines including three litters of baby kittens.
The shelter agreed to take them all in and they now need your help finding forever families.
"We need people who are willing to take mother cats and their kittens because the kittens are one or two weeks old and we need the kittens to be eight weeks old and two pounds before they're up for adoption," said Kathy Bice, Brazos Animal Shelter Executive Director.
Animal Shelter Board Member Bob Strawser and his wife Carol came by Saturday to foster eight of the kittens for the time being.
Foster families will be provided all needed supplies to care for the cats.
Meanwhile those wanting to adopt can pick one up for $50 and that includes their vaccines, spay and neutering and a microchip.

Saturday is adoption day at the Brazos Animal Shelter in Bryan.
The organization recently took in 28 cats after the owner passed away from cancer.
Foster homes are needed for the two momma cats and a litter of kitten.
Foster families will be provided the needed food, litter, medical, and cat containers for them.

The remaining cats are available for adoption Saturday from 11 A.M. until 3 P.M. at 5359 Leonard Road in Bryan.
The adoption fee is $50.
