Self Defense Moves ? 5 Easy Ways to Get Away From ... - For Women

If you?re on the other end of an attack (a robbery, rape, murder, etc.), what?s the best way to survive? Do you need to turn the tables on him and be the attacker? Do you need to fight your attacker. Do you need to show off your martial arts skills and continue pounding until he gives up? In most cases, it?s better to just run away. This way, you won?t give him a chance to hurt you.

Of course, you may need to incapacitate him first before running away so that it will not turn into a race. This is where knowledge of self-defense moves can help you. These are 5 easy moves that can help you get away from an attacker. Use these moves and you?ll get a chance to run away:

? Hit the eyes.

The eyes are very sensitive. Poke your attacker?s eyes. Gouge them. Scratch them. It doesn?t matter. Go at it like a madman. He can?t run after you if his eyes are slammed shut because of the pain.

? Palm strike to the nose.

A very bad boxer will tell you that getting hit in the nose is no joke. This is especially true if you didn?t expect to get hit there. As soon as your attacker is within reach, strike upwards with the heel of your palm and hit his nose. If you?re able to achieve a direct hit, he?ll fall down like the aforementioned bad boxer. With blood flowing down his nose, there?s a good chance that he won?t be running after you.

? Hit his groin with your knee.

This is one of the most effective self-defense moves if your assailant is a man. It is so painful that it?s not unheard of for men to puke after getting hit in the groin. Do you want to know why athletes wear protective cups? It?s because they want to avoid this pain.

? Punch his throat.

The throat area is very sensitive. A well-placed punch to the throat can lead to your attacker having difficulties breathing. It?s very painful as well.

? Kick his knee.

If you need to run away, you have to make sure that your attacker can?t run after you. Kick his knee in and he won?t be running after you.

A good self-defense program can help you master these moves. Master them as soon as possible because you?ll never know when you?re going to need them.
